Celebrating Doctoral Awards

Dear PhD students,
congratulations on the successful completion of your PhD!

To appropriately recognize your achievement and dedication over the past years, we are hosting our first academic celebration for our department's doctoral students on Nov. 21, 2019. The "Celebrating Doctoral Awards" is the ceremonial conclusion of the "Science Talent Day", which we also hold for the first time for the young scientists of the department. All doctoral candidates who have successfully completed their disputation since May 2018 are cordially invited. We would be happy to welcome you at your old alma mater!

Theofficial start is at 6:00 pm in the new Campus Center (CC) of the university. The champagne reception starts already at 17:30 in its foyer. In addition to the presentation of the certificates, an interesting social program is planned. The celebration will end around 7:30 p.m. In addition to the successful doctoral candidates, all academic staff members of the department, and of course our professors and doctoral alumni are invited to the Celebrating Doctoral Awards. Following the official ceremony, there will be ample opportunities for further exchange in a relaxed atmosphere. Of course, we will take care of the sale of drinks.
The teaching units of economics and business law are offering a science award. All doctoral candidates who successfully completed their disputation in the period between May 16, 2018 and October 31, 2019 will be considered.
