Self-employed artists and publicists make a significant contribution to the cultural life of our society. This event will focus on their social security in health, long-term care and pension insurance - as support for creative work: How does artists' social insurance work? Who can insure themselves in the Artists' Social Insurance Fund (KSK)? Who is liable to pay contributions?

Recent rulings by the Federal Social Court (BSG), including on the status of a tattoo artist, a flamenco dance teacher and a wedding speaker, will also be presented.
