At this year's ICISfromDecember 10-13, 2017 in Seoul/South Korea the team from the Department of Information Systems (Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister) of the University of Kassel was again strongly represented. In the run-up to numerous track submissions were accepted by scientific staff of the department for this conference, so that there were particularly many opportunities for Team Leimeister to present their own research topics and to exchange ideas with scientists from all over the world. The International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) is a  A-ratedconference (VHB-Jourqual 3) and the most important conference in the field of information systems worldwide. The venue of this conference changes annually between continents, this year's event was held in Seoul, South Korea. The conference center was located in the Seoul district of Gangnam, which, in addition to its strong economic importance for Asia and South Korea, has gained worldwide fame not least because of the song by the artist "Psy".
