Professor Traute Frahnert

* 8.5.1924 † 14.12.2023

Professor Traute Frahnert worked from 1965 until her retirement in 1986 (from 1979 as a professor) at the Pädagogisches Fachinstitut Kassel and at the Gesamthochschule Kassel (predecessor institutions of the University of Kassel) in the fields of polytechnics/work education and textile design. In teaching and research, she devoted herself primarily to technical and didactic aspects of textile design.

It is with gratitude and respect that we remember a colleague from the pioneering days of our university.
