The following mission statement characterizes the research of the Chair

The Chair of Sustainabe Finance at the University of Kassel is one of the few Chairs at German Universities that specializes in researching topics in sustainable finance. Professor Klein and his team are especially focused on the investment behavior of sustainable investors, the characteristics of sustainable investments, and the effects of sustainability on the capital market and the accompanying parameters.
