The research focus of the Department of Business Psychology is on psychological factors that are associated with well-being at work. Key areas of interest include leadership, creativity and personal initiative, the use of technology, work routines, self-regulation, and emotion regulation. In addition, psychological aspects of corporate idea management are examined.

Members of the Department of Business Psychology are involved in the Research Center for Information Systems Design (ITeG) at the University of Kassel.
