Appointment of Prof. Dr. Christoph Peters to the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich

Prof. Dr. Christoph Peters has held the professorship for Digital Process Management at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich since 01.10.2024.
Christoph Peters studied business informatics at the University of Mannheim and received his doctorate from the University of Kassel in 2015 with a dissertation on "Modularization of Services - A Modularization Method for the Field of Telemedicine". In 2021, he completed his habilitation at the University of St. Gallen with his thesis "Designing Work and Service Systems". At the same time, he worked as a research group leader and project manager at the Universities of Kassel and St. Gallen.
From October 2022 to September 2023, he held the Chair of Information Systems, in particular Intelligent Information Systems and Processes, at the University of Leipzig. Subsequently, from October 2023 to April 2024, he held the Chair of Information Systems and Systems Development at the University of Kassel.

Christoph Peters' research interests include hybrid intelligence, services and business processes, organizations of the future (architectures, platforms, agility), socio-technical systems and human-centricity, co-creation for service innovation, business models and start-ups.
