With an official ceremony, the “Center for Molecular Water Science (CMWS)” was inaugurated on February 26th on the DESY Campus in Hamburg. CMWS is a consortium of 47 member institutes performing research on water. Amongst them is the University of Kassel with active participation of the research groups Physik mit Synchrotronstrahlung (Prof. Arno Ehresmann, Dr. Andreas Hans), Laborastrophysik (Prof. Thomas Giesen, Dr. Guido Fuchs) and Strukturelle Molekulare Dynamik (Prof. Jochen Mikosch).
