Transition radiation
Transition radiation occurs when a charged particle with constant velocity crosses an interface between two media with different permittivities and permeabilities. We study how this radiation is modified by the presence of topological insulators.

We observe an enhancement due to the magnetoelectric effect of TbPO4. These results could serve for particle detection and search of dark matter.
