Call for Papers - System Innovation towards Sustainable Agriculture

Societies around the world are facing enormous and ongoing sustainability challenges. However, the development of agricultural and food systems towards greater sustainability is characterized by different - and usually only incremental - patterns of change. The scientific contributions to their description, explanation and promotion come from various  disciplines. Furthermore, the research results are often not yet sufficiently aligned with the needs and challenges of practitioners and policymakers. This workshop invites stakeholders from research, policy and practice to jointly provide an integrative overview of current issues of the status quo and design options for more sustainable agricultural and food systems and to develop an agenda for future-oriented paths in research, policy-making and practice in the design of innovation and transformation processes.
