Welcome to NINTE! Sustainability management in the international food industry

The section "Sustainability Management in the International Food Industry" (NINTE) teaches general and specific sustainability management competencies for future managers in different organisational forms in international food systems. In research, we develop explanatory contributions to specific management issues of actors with different functions in the food system on the one hand. On the other hand, in inter- and transdisciplinary research designs, we develop system, goal and action knowledge on current challenges for the culturally embedded interaction of actors in order to sustainably organise the production, bundling, processing, trading and consumption of food across organisational, sectoral, natural and administrative boundaries.
