Research Foci
Her broad research interests include valuing nature, landscape ecology and biodiversity conservation. To date her research focuses on biodiversity in agricultural systems and the values and knowledge that influence decisions for land management. She is currently working in the ConServeTerra project, which seeks to increase the uptake of Conservation Agriculture principles among farmers in the Mediterranean region (www.conserveterra.org). This includes determining the social and cultural factors driving farmers’ soil management practices, with the aim of improving regional agricultural resilience.
