Research focus

In the context of my dissertation, I deal with consumers' perspectives on different (organic) foods. This includes, for example, apples with visual defects (skin defects), different processed foods and specific technologies, as well as products from legumes as a plant protein alternative. Using qualitative and quantitative methods, I try to determine consumers' expectations, opinions, preferences or willingness to pay for these products.
