New project: organic climate vegetables

Hot summers with little water pose a particular threat to vegetable yields. So how can carrots and leeks manage with less water?

This is what the new research project "Organic Climate Vegetables" at the University of Kassel is investigating. Four departments of organic agricultural sciences are involved under the direction of Prof. Dr. Miriam Athmann and Dr. Margita Hefner.
