LohmannsHof Gärtnerei offers internship (BPS 2) in the field of tomato breeding/vegetable cultivation/seed propagation

The LohmannsHof nursery in Westen/Dörverden offers a part-time internship (approx. 30 hours) during the semester break (July - October). The focus of the internship is on practical on-farm tomato cultivation.

  • Single plant harvesting of experimental tomatoes
  • Assessment of various phenotypic characteristics and diseases
  • Harvesting and care work in the greenhouse and open field
  • Harvesting and preparation of vegetable seeds
  • Previous experience in vegetable growing and/or experimentation is an advantage
  • Possibility to collect your own data for a student research project
