Study programme

The study program aims at educating specialists who are world-wide competitive in the field of organic agriculture by combining basic research and innovative agricultural practice. Its components are summarized in Fig. 1. Scientific training is complemented by soft skill training in which key qualifications will be mediated in the areas of communication, strategic thinking and self management, since key qualifications are getting more important for the occupational career. Moreover, the English skills of the graduate members are deepened.

The aims of the study program can be summarized as follows:

• Gain of profound theoretical and methodological knowledge of important techniques used in agricultural sciences
• Improvement of the students’ abilities to conduct research in a collaborative manner
• Acquirement of soft skills
• Deepening of English language skills
