Cooperative sectors and sustainable agriculture

Background: In many countries cooperatives play an important role for the agricultural sector. They greatly support performance of the sector. Often, they are also politically highly relevant.

Aim: The research aims to better understand the role of cooperatives in different countries for adoption of sustainable agricultural practices such as organic farming, participatory guarantee systems, integrated pest management, biodiversity governance.
