Policy coordination among farming related policy sectors
Background: Policies like the “Farm to Fork Strategy” aim at an integrated systems perspective and understanding. Similarly, they require policy integration across and at specific levels. The degree of policy integration and coordination and coherence at different stages however is often insufficient. In relation to agriculture, it could address agricultural and health, environmental, science, or educational policies.
Aim: The aim of this thesis proposal is to address policy coordination and implementation among food, farming and environment -related policies and regulations at different jurisdictional levels (EU, member states, regions, cities, communities) and to evaluate the most promising strategies to come to more policy coherence and better coordinated implementation of policies in relation to mentioned sectors.
