Subject area represented with four presentations at HEUREKA 2024

The department was represented at the most prestigious conference of transport sciences in the German-speaking world, HEUREKA, which takes place every three years, with four papers (out of a total of 36 papers selected in the peer review process). Johanna Koch presented the "Effects of a pandemic-related staggering of school hours using the example of the city of Herne", Franziska Henkel presented the core of her dissertation, a "Procedure for quantifying mobility options". In his presentation, Stefan Saake answered the question of how the quality of forecast results can be assessed in public transport utilization forecasts. In his presentation, Jonas Harz presented a method for modeling the arrival mode of city travelers.
