Honorary professorship for Dominik Wildanger

At the request of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Senate of the University of Kassel conferred an honorary professorship on Dr. rer. nat. Jan Dominik Wildanger at its meeting on 10 July 2024.

Prof. Wildanger is Head of Department I3 - Air Pollution Control: Emissions at the Hessian State Office for Nature Conservation, Environment and Geology in Kassel, where he has been employed since 2012 after studying and completing his doctorate in physics in Heidelberg and working as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen. Prof. Wildanger has been teaching courses in the field of air pollution control at the department for ten years and is thus firmly anchored in the teaching profile of the Environmental Engineering course.
