Prof. h.c. mult. Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dr. h.c. Man-Chung Tang visited the University of Kassel on 28.06.2024 and presented a lecture entitled "Why They Call Chongqing the Bridge Capital of China?".



Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tang offered the audience in the lecture hall of the Campus Center of the University of Kassel, consisting of colleagues and students of the University of Kassel and interested parties from local engineering offices, an interesting and varied insight into the realized and special bridge construction projects of his career.



The concluding discussion and professional exchange between Prof. Dr.-Ing. Man-Chung Tang and the audience was very well received. On the occasion of his visit to the University of Kassel, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tang was presented with a composition of his completed bridge construction projects by Prof. Dr-Ing. This is on display at the Department of Steel Construction at the University of Kassel.
