As part of an exclusive webinar hosted by Motiontag, Prof. Sommer gave an insight into the methodology of the research project "Rebound effects in passenger transport". The research project is funded by the Federal Environment Agency and aims to generate in-depth findings and information on the possible development of rebound effects in the transport sector with a focus on passenger transport. As part of the project, mobility behavior is recorded using both a travel diary and a tracking app. In the webinar, Prof. Sommer reported in particular on the differences between the two forms of data collection and initial findings on the sample surveyed.
