As part of the Applied Materials Technology course (E-certificate seminar), an excursion to the Kimm company was organized by the department. At the beginning, Dr. Göbel showed the students the extraction of raw materials in the company's own sand and gravel pit. Afterwards, the students visited the ready-mix concrete plant, the paving stone production and the production of reinforced concrete pipes on the company premises at the Wabern-Udenborn site.
