The staff of the Department of Construction Materials and Construction Chemistry would like to congratulate Mr. Johannes Arend on his successful dissertation.

Mr. Arend has brilliantly defended his dissertation with the topic: "Fluorescence microscopic in-situ investigations on interactions of superplasticizers and particles in cementitious systems" on 14.07.2021. In compliance with the Corona measures, the disputation could take place in presence with the examination board and an audience. Afterwards, the obligatory graduation party with the newly crowned Dr. rer. nat. took place, which ended the day of Mr. Arend's graduation with champagne and appetizers.
