The "International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement" (ICCC) has been held at regular intervals since 1918 and is one of the most renowned global platforms for discussions on current issues in cement chemistry. This year, the department was represented by contributions from Dr. Alexander Wetzel and Mr. Denis Kosenko. The latest results on "Thermal stability of UHPC based on alkali-activated slag and metakaolin" and on "Microscopic tracking of superplasticizer adsorption in alkali activated materials" were presented to the international audience by the Kassel scientists.
