Carsten Sommer gives an insight into the costs of transportation

At the 78th Kontiki Conference, Carsten Sommer made a contribution to cost transparency and gave an overview of the costs of transportation in Germany as a whole and of municipal costs in a presentation. He also highlighted new financing options in the transport sector in a panel discussion. The 78th Kontiki conference under the overarching theme "Where the passenger market goes, beneficiary financing comes" was attended by around 180 participants from transport companies, transport associations and industry.

Kontiki is a non-profit organization with members from all over Germany and some neighbouring countries. Our members include transport companies, transport associations, public transport authorities, IT, industry and consulting companies. Our aim is to promote digitalization in public transport.
