Ingmar Zalewski has been at INCHER since November 2023 and works there with Prof. Dr. Bettina Langfeldt and Dr. Christian Schnejiderberg in the research project “State and non-state universities as providers of hybrid study formats in health and nursing professions” (AGePf).
“After studying psychology, sociology and educational sciences at Leuphana University Lüneburg and the University of Potsdam, Ingmar Zalewski worked as a research assistant on research projects to evaluate the accommodation situation of unaccompanied minor refugees (Potsdam University of Applied Sciences) and in the context of quality dialogs in Hamburg's youth welfare offices (Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin). Ingmar Zalewski joined the University of Kassel in 2019 as a lecturer in the field of qualitative methods, where he received his doctorate summa cum laude in February 2024 with an ethnographic thesis in the field of migration sociology under Prof. Dr. Ulrike Tikvah Kissmann. He continues to work as a lecturer in the Department of Social Science Methodology of Qualitative-Reconstructive Research, teaching qualitative methods. In August 2024, he was appointed to the board of the Research Network 20 Qualitative Methods of the European Sociological Association.
Most recently, Ingmar Zalewski was a visiting researcher at the Department of Philosophy “Piero Martinetti” with Prof. Dr. Giampietro Gobo at the University of Milan.
