Since May 2019, Merve Kılıçkan has been a PhD student at INCHER and the Institute of Economics at the University of Kassel. Merve completed her Bachelor in Business Administration and Master in Economics at Yeditepe University in Turkey. Her research interests include knowledge economy, technology transfer and historical economics. Her PhD project focuses on knowledge production enabled by highly skilled immigration, institutionalization and education policies, especially the role of the university in knowledge creation and diffusion.
