Innovation and Transfer
The thematic area "Innovation and Transfer" is made up of the main research areas "Innovations in research, teaching, and knowledge and technology transfer" and "People, professions and profession (s)", which are characterized by the cross-cutting topic " Organization "are connected. Both focal points examine the lasting influence on the organization of the university and its change in the context of social change processes. In the long term, the aim is to establish a profile for innovations in the university sector, valorisation of scientific knowledge of the three missions of the universities, groups of people at universities and research institutions as well as the university organization - without ignoring the area “outside” science. The development of theory as well as empirical social research are characteristic of the scientific work on the interdisciplinary topic “Innovation and Transfer”.

T!RAUM!B - Accompanying research for the BMBF funding line "TransferRäume für die Zukunft von Regionen"
The funding line "„Transfer-Räume für die Zukunft von Regionen (T!Raum)" (Transfer Spaces for the Future of Regions) of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research aims at enabling universities and research institutions to develop new transfer instruments. Together with the Stifterverband für die deutsche Wissenschaft and SV Wissenschaftsstatistik gGmbH, INCHER conducts an accompanying research project for this funding line, aiming to make the effects of innovative transfer formats on structural change measurable.
