GePro: Geschlechterdimensionen der Promotion (abgeschlossen 2015)
in brief
The project examined the extent to which completing a doctorate results in minimizing gender differences on the labour market. The study focused on the non-university labour market of which there is little empirical evidence, although the majority of PhD holders work outside the universities.
Research questions were answered with the help of data from the nationwide German graduate study "cooperation project graduate studies" (KOAB). In wich Graduates in Germany including a representative selection of PhDs are surveyed with respect to their occupational situation.
