B-Hub aims to disseminate most innovative behavioural solutions. It presents only proven, evidence-based strategies to increase the impact of programmes, products or services and make behavioural science research accessible to everyone.
B-Hub selected an intervention based on an INCHER co-operation project aiming to improve student participation and learning outcomes in online courses in Ecuador. The most effective intervention at the school system level consisted of a real-timecentralized management system: Ministry of Education staff had access to and received weekly reports on attendance at each treated school through this system. The findings are based on a PNAS paper: https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2216686120.
This research is part of the wider Showing Life Opportunities project run by INCHER-Kassel in collaboration with the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education, the World Bank, Labex ECODEC ENSAE, HEC Paris and Warwick Business School.
