Leaving the University

For students

You do not have to hand in the CampusCard with the exmatriculation application. The CampusCard can still be used as a regional user card (library card) or wallet (e.g. in the refectory). The student ID and semester ticket imprints will be removed upon revalidation.

The Admissions Office may request the card if the student ID for the next semester is already printed on it.

If you have remaining credit on your CampusCard, it is necessary to request a withdrawal from the Studierendenwerk. Information on this can be found further down on the website.

For staff

Please return the card to the IT Helpdesk if it is not still used as a regional user card (library card) or wallet (e.g. in the cafeteria). The authorizations are deleted after leaving the university.

They may also be turned in by mail or interoffice mail. Address: University of Kassel, IT Service Center, CampusCard, Mönchebergstr. 11, 34109 Kassel.

If you still have remaining credit on the CampusCard, it is necessary to request a payout from the Studierendenwerk. Information on this can be found further down on the website.
