Matlab & Simulink

The University of Kassel has concluded a Campus Wide Suite contract with Mathworks as of October 30, 2020. This enables all members of the University of Kassel to use the Matlab and Simulink software with all available toolboxes for research and teaching. The contract will be extended again until 30.10.2024. If you are notified of the expiry of tTe license, please contact Mathworks directly.

The license can be used to download, install and use MathWorks products on university computers and private devices.

Attention:If you have existing maintenance contracts for Mathworks software, they will remain as suspended under the Mathworks License Suspension Policy and may be continued after a campus contract termination, subject to individual contract expiration dates.

MATLAB provides its users with both an intuitive programming language and an interactive programming environment for modeling mathematical algorithms, analyzing and graphically representing data, and performing numerical calculations. Thanks to its graphical interface, Simulink allows the modeling and simulation of complex dynamic systems. In addition, the license allows students to access more than 100 additional customized MathWorks software solutions for data analysis, image processing, or work on artificial intelligence.
