Based on the study published in 2010 by Oliver Wyman "Electromobility 2025", pure electromobility will possibly reach a market share of 3% in the next 15 years. The main problems are the enormous additional costs and the limited range of electric vehicles. The road to the electric car inevitably leads via electric hybrid technology. In the next few years, the larger vehicle classes will probably hardly be able to manage without this technology. Mild hybrids will become established in the mid-size class. Start-stop systems are increasingly becoming basic equipment in all vehicles.....
