GWS Group takes part in the hydrogen APT workshop at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials in Düsseldorf.

From April 16 to 18, the GWS Department will participate in the Hydrogen APT Workshop at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials in Düsseldorf. The workshop will be led by Baptiste Gault (MPIE), Aparna Saksena (MPIE), Paul Bagot (Oxford University) and Xavier Sauvage (GPM - CNRS/University of Rouen).
As a small scientific community focused on the use of atom probes for research on advanced materials, the participants exchanged a lot on how to best perform atom probe measurements.
All participants collaborated on a communication paper entitled "Towards establishing best practice in the analysis of hydrogen and deuterium by atom probe tomography", which is available online as a preprint(arxiv.org).
