From November 6 to 10, 2023, Prof. Song and Xiao Shen participated in the "Sustainability and Life Cycle Modelling Tranining" workshop hosted by Prof. Gesa Beck in Berlin.
The aim of the training is to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct sustainability studies on environmental, economic and social impact assessments.
The training demonstrates the use of tools for sustainability analyses, including sensitivity and uncertainty analyses, as well as methods for communicating the results.
In the future, we aim to conduct comprehensive life cycle performance assessments of sustainable metallic materials. Our aim is to develop more sustainable and efficient metallic materials, reduce the environmental footprint and promote a circular economy.
