It was our great pleasure to welcome Dr. Gabrielle Tiphene from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France, to our chair on June 19, 2023. After a laboratory and campus tour, she had the opportunity to discuss with Prof. Merle and Dr. Abba about the current research projects of the chair. Afterwards, Dr. Tiphene gave a well-attended lecture on "High-Temperature Scanning Indentation: using in-situ nanoindentation to quantify recovery kinetics" in front of the whole institute. We would like to thank Dr. Tiphene for her visit and the fruitful discussions!
