EDM machine Agiecut Challenge 2 (Techma)

The Agiecut Challenge 2 is an electrical discharging machine from the manufacturer Agie, overhauled and maintained by Techma. Using spark erosion machining, it can cut metal workpieces up to 256 mm thick with a positioning accuracy of 4 µm and a surface quality of 0.3 mm. The maximum traverse paths in the X and Y directions are 350 x 250 mm. The workpiece size is limited to 750 x 550 x 256 mm and 400 kg. Conical cuts are not possible with the existing equipment.
