Immediately after the visit by Timon Gremmels, Hessian Minister for Science and Research, Art and Culture, Prof Dr Thomas Niendorf and Dr Michael Hartung gave a short presentation in the evening, giving the eager audience a vivid insight into the world of materials and, with BiTWerk, an outlook on their future:

Around 8,000 guests visited the University of Kassel's campus festival this year. At around 80 stands and programme items, they were able to find out about studying, research and teaching at the University of Kassel, experiment for themselves, take a look behind the scenes and enjoy good music.
We look forward to the Campusfest 2026!
