European Semiconductor Laser Workshop 2024

Welcome to the 47th European Semiconductor Laser Workshop which will be held in Kassel, northern part of Hesse

Registration for workshop participation

All participants of the ESLW 2024 must register via the link below.

The regular fee is 250 €, which includes admission to the workshop (including coffee breaks and lunches on both days) and attendance of the social events (guided tour at the world heritage site and dinner at Herkules Terraces). Due to tax reasons, the costs are separately listed on the registration form in two categories.
The regular fee is valid for registration and payment before September 10th. Afterwards, the fee is increased to 300 €.
Cancellation policy: if you have to cancel the registration, you get 80% back until 14 days before the start of the event. Afterwards, no reimbursement is possible.

Workshop Program and Workshop Booklet

Information for speakers

For a contributing oral presentation, you will have a total time of 20 minutes, 15 minutes for talk and 5 minutes for questions. Windows OS laptop will be provided in the lecture hall. Please bring your presentation on a USB device and copy it in advance during the breaks to the workshop laptop before your session.

For poster presentation, a poster board permitting you to mount a poster of maximum size of 110 cm wide and 140 cm high will be provided. Posters in a portrait A0 format are recommended. In addition, every poster presenting author is asked to prepare a 2 minute long Poster Flash Presentation to attract people's attention to their posters. The PowerPoint template with more detailed instructions can be found below.
You can fix your poster in the poster session room already during the first workshop day.

Call for Abstracts

Original contributions, both oral and poster presentations, are sought within the workshop scope (see below). The abstract can contain up to 250 words (the abstract title, institution and author list are not included in this limit). Please submit your abstract after registration by following this link:

Please note
