Doctoral program JUST - Just and sustainable transformation
What is it about?
In the 2020s, the world is in upheaval. The climate crisis demands a rapid ecological transformation of an already socially polarized society. The tension between the necessary ecological transformation, the strengthening of social standards and the reduction of growing inequality is politically challenging, and its analysis is a scientific desideratum.
The research group is dedicated to researching these processes in four problem areas:
1. transformative education in the educational, social and health sectors
2. accessibility and participation in open space, urban and landscape planning
3. diversity and inclusion for sustainable companies and supply chains
4. social and democratic institutions, especially in regions undergoing structural change.
