Programming with OpenCL

OpenCL is the first programming language that allows to write a program that works on multi-core CPUs and different accelerator hardware (GPUs, Cell Broadband Engine, ...). In this project the participants will learn the relatively new OpenCL programming language and develop a larger program with it. Alternatively, an existing software (e.g. an open source application) can be optimized.
 
Requirements
Basic knowledge in parallel programming and C/C++.

Participants
Students of the diploma, bachelor or master program in computer science from the 5th semester and other interested people.
