Process

Registration is always possible in the winter semester (until December 1).

The introductory seminar takes place every winter semester. This provides an introduction to the study profile. The mentors are also introduced.

Each student is accompanied by a mentor. The mentors are introduced at the introductory seminar. Here, all students have the opportunity to express their preferences. Following the introductory seminar, the mentors are assigned to the students based on their preferences.
The mentors support the students in creating an individual learning path based on their subjects and personal interests.

The InterESD study profile comprises one compulsory and two compulsory elective modules with a total of at least 10 ECTS credits (see diagram).

A meeting of all students and mentors takes place once a semester. The summer event takes place every summer semester and offers the opportunity to exchange ideas on a specific topic.
Every winter semester, the Present and Future Conference takes place, at which InterESD graduates present their products, learning paths or questions. The students of younger cohorts receive impulses for the further development of their study profile.
Both conferences are mandatory for all InterESD students.
At the end of your study profile, you will actively participate in the present and future conference. You will exchange ideas with the other InterESD graduates and jointly develop ideas on how your specific knowledge and individual skills can be used in the future.

Transcript of Records: For each event you attend, you must keep a so-called "Laufzettel" (see "Downloads") on which the respective lecturer and your mentor confirm your participation. Please submit your routing slip via email to interesd@uni-kassel.de.

During your participation in InterESD, you will keep a process portfolio as an ePortfolio on the mahara platform.
