Interdisciplinary work, fundamental and problem-oriented research and teaching, and a strong regional focus characterize the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Kassel. One of its special features lies in the broad range of disciplinary approaches and scientific cultures. With their research and teaching, the members of the faculty aim to improve social conditions at the level of the individual, of groups and institutions, and of society as a whole.
