Admission requirement

BA or teaching degree
All applicants who wish to obtain a place on one of the partial courses of study in English or English or American Studies at the University of Kassel must submit proof of the required language competence as a requirement for enrollment.

Master EAS or EACBS for
a) those who do not meet the requirements with their BA (Those who did not complete their BA at a German university must generally submit a language test. Those who completed their BA at a German university but not in English / English Studies / American Studies must submit a language test. Those who completed their BA at a German university in English / English Studies / American Studies but have an average grade of less than 3.0 in language practice must submit a language test.)
b) or whose BA was more than two years ago.

One way to provide evidence of the required language proficiency is to take the IELTS test.
