Dr. Jennifer Schluer won the poster prize (second place) during the 27th Congress of the German Association for Foreign Language Research (DGFF) on 30 September 2017 in Jena. With her poster on the topic of "Lexical and conceptual challenges in reading in English as a foreign language", she impressed the committee with the relevance of the research question, the quality of the research design, the coherence and structure of the poster and the clarity of the presentation. The successful attention-grabbing central eye-catcher of the poster, which encourages viewers to reflect, was particularly emphasized.
