I am a PhD Candidate in Humanities and Cultural Studies at the University of Kassel and hold a Master's degree in Social Sciences with a specialization in Anthropology from the University of Neuchâtel. I received the FNS scholarship in July 2016 to follow the Specialization in Field Research at the Anthropology Institute of Neuchâtel. During the summer 2017, I joined the OAS Civil Society Staff of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in Washington D.C. From 2016 to 2017, where I developed field work on Paramilitarism and Peace Building Agency in the Caribbean Region of Colombia. Previously, I worked for the Colombian Ministry of Culture as Coordinator of the Research and Creation Laboratories in Guainía (2012), and at the National University of Colombia as Senior Researcher at the Faculty of Fine Arts where I conducted field research on Bogotá's Culture Policy (2011).

I combine research work, activism and pedagogical practices. Since 2021, I accompany and train future north-south cooperants in participatory methodologies and popular education at isango-formation.org.Since 2017, I have been engaged in the renaming process of the Espace Tilo Frey and the public visibility of black people.
