Laura Breuer is a Master's student of Political Science at the University of Kassel and African Studies at the University of Leipzig.

Most recently, she worked in the administration of the Global and European Studies Institute in Leipzig. She is currently writing a master's thesis on decolonial perspectives on postmodern/poststructuralist thought, among other things with reference to the project modernidad|colonialidad. Her interests lie in decolonial methodology, epistemology and ontology, as well as theories of the South on the one hand and critical political learning for socio-ecological transformation, as well as radical theories of democracy on the other.
