The IfSS traditionally says goodbye to the graduates of the study of sports science with a ceremony. On Friday, January 24, 2020, it was that time again and more than 80 people came to celebrate the first state examination of the 2019 examination candidates. During this event, the Dietrich Martin Award for special academic achievements is also awarded. On the one hand, the scientific homework of Jonas Nitsche was awarded, who dealt with the "Video case work in the study workshop sport - learning tasks in physical education". On the other hand, Till Schaefers was awarded for having the best study and examination performance of the entire year.

In addition to the award, the winners received a check from the financial service provider MLP. The IfSS congratulates them and wishes them all the best for their future careers
