Knowledge battle every ten minutes'

After the great success of the 1st Kassel Science Slam last year, the stage at K19 will once again belong to the 'slammers' on May 26. Here, scientists will have the opportunity to present their research topic in a popular scientific way ? and to inspire the audience. The condition: The topic must be one that the presenter is researching themselves. Each short presentation has no more than ten minutes. The clock is ticking mercilessly: start, show, cut. The audience can expect freshly prepared, easy-to-understand presentations that are entertaining and full of research. Victory or defeat will be decided on a standing start. The battle is for the title of 'Slam Champion'.

The audience can look forward to an entertaining evening with many interesting and curious insights into the university's fields of research. For example, if you have always wanted to know 'how a molecular partner exchange works' or 'whether Jesus was a bully', you should definitely not miss this event!

On behalf of the Institute of Sport and Sport Science, Sebastian Fischer will be taking part with the lecture: "Winning strategies in swimming - Why a successful strategy does not necessarily have to be obvious!" .

The 2nd Kassel Science Slam will take place on Thursday, May 26 at 8 pm in the Cultural Center K 19, Moritzstraße 19, of the University of Kassel (admission: from 7 pm).
